Mirror Polished Stainless Steel Railings more commonly known as Chrome Railings are mainly used in costal environments to reduce maintenance and the chance of "tea staining".

Tea Staining is caused by dirt or salt spray that has become engrained in the stainless steel polish causing an orange/brown stain (almost rust like) to occur on the surface. The finer the polish on the stainless steel the less chance there is of the dirt or particles penertrating the surface.

There is an apporximate 20% increase in price compared to a stain polished balustrade component but there is less maintenance required and it will prolong a superior looking product for longer. All products are available in a Mirror Finish but may have to be polished to order which can take upto 10 days.
